nexogy, one of the leading providers of VoIP cloud-based PBX services, has added SRP IHOP as one of their largest customers.  

Sunshine Restaurant Partners manages and operates over 150 IHOP restaurants in Florida and south Georgia. They serve over 65,000 guests every day. The company's vision is to expand to 250 restaurants in this region of the United States. We have no doubt they will reach their goal.

Part of their plan for growth was to implement phone to-go orders. Now that this option is in place, all restaurants are increasing their volume of incoming calls. Which, of course, was the plan, but SRP realized a change in how the restaurants operated via their phone system must take place.

Challenges brought to light that if left unchecked would create significant issues as the chain grew were:

  • Increasing incoming call traffic per restaurant for to-go orders
  • Ability to monitor and analyze call reports
  • Keeping a low telecom budget per restaurant

nexogy was at the ready to resolve these issues before they become major problems. The solution was to take SRP's IHOP restaurants to the cloud. 

By creating a call center environment for each restaurant, one to three call center agents were able to manage the influx of calls. Rather than receiving busy signals, customers are placed in a queue, so their calls are now answered in the order they are received.Pancakes-1

Each call center can provide an auto-attendant with professional greetings and on-hold music to improve the caller's experience.

Remote and centralized real-time call reporting, call statistics and even call flow management were implemented by quickly programming the requested data into the restaurant's dashboard screen. All requested reports are generated with ease.

All services are simplified because they are under one provider and one bill, regardless of the location or the number of restaurants.

Future growth will be a breeze because when a new location is opened, telephony service is just a matter of new users being added to the existing account.
