LDT installs and maintains an Integrated Access Device (IAD) that's located at your site. As a nexogy customer, you may use your existing analog phones or purchase additional analog or LDT approved IP phone equipment from various manufacturers or LDT integration partners. Yes. You can start with analog phones and LDT will provide you with port adapters on the Integrated Access Device (IAD). As your desk phones need replacement, simply replace them with an appropriated IP handset (available from various manufacturers) to get even more user-friendly features from your system.

A small amount of signaling bandwidth is used to establish a session between the two extensions. Once a session has been established between the two extensions, no further bandwidth is needed on your T-1.

A computer or software is not required to use your phone. However, users may access their phone features through a web portal, using their current web browser. The web portal allows users to personalize calling features and manage calls without the need to remember cumbersome flash and star enabled codes. Also, we can provide a SoftPhone that emulates your Cisco IP Phone functionality for even more portability.

In most cases, there will be no downtime. In most cases, we can install our equipment parallel to your existing equipment while porting your phone numbers (DIDs). (If you are not porting existing numbers, this is not an issue.) There may be a brief interruption of existing LDT Internet service while LDT installs the Integrated Access Device (IAD).
