Meet National Channel Manager: Tom Graham

Founded in 1999, nexogy, a company that provides Unified Communications and VoIP services to the SMB community, is pleased to announce their National Manager draft pick for the Greater Southeastern Tennessee Region!

Raised in Tennessee, Tom enlisted in the Armed Forces at age 18. He spent 6 years in the US Military instructing escape and survival strategy. During that time, Tom was privileged to train both US Air Force and US Army personnel.

For the past 20 years, Tom has focused his career on the telecom industry. He has worked in both the SMB and the Enterprise space, splitting the time evenly between Channel and Direct sales. From his humble beginnings as a Territory Sales Rep in Tennessee and North Carolina for AT&T, he was promoted to Enterprise Sales after a few short years.

Along the way, he was inspired to operate his own Master Agency and successfully did so for 15 years. He, literally, learned all the ropes finding himself responsible for vendor relations, recruitment and retention of accounts, managing multiple employees, and assisting with technology training. And, that's just the nutshell version!

With the experience and knowledge gained by this time, there was no question that Tom could step directly into the role of Senior Account Director for Converge One in October 2016. It was on to Windstream Enterprise in February 2018. Collaborating with authorized Channel Partners and identifying new business accounts were included in his job description. Tom also accepted speaking engagements to assist c-level management in a vast array of subjects.

Also, Tom served as a Board Member for both a Master Agency and Managed Solutions Provider. Always at the ready to provide sound advice. He was well-respected by his fellow board members. 

When not pursuing being all that he can be in his professional life, Tom's top priority is family. He has a great wife that also works in technology. His daughter is 16, and his son is 12. Reported as being "good kids," Tom added, "They hide the bad stuff pretty well!" Tom really enjoys coaching little league baseball and is always up for the game when it's time for adult softball. He loves fast cars and is a proud owner of an Indian motorcycle. Road trips aren't out of the question. Tom loves to travel.
